脱力感100％な休日
こんにちは！
今日は昨日と今日の内容を合わせて書こうと思います☆
昨日はシンガポールへ行ってきました☆
最初は新しく開発されると発表があったJurong地区を視察するつもりだったのですが、ずっと雨で降っていて出発が遅れたので手短かにまだ行ったことのない地区を地下鉄で移動して開拓！
Plaza SingapureやThe Cathayは初めて行ったのですが、オーチャードから離れているとは言えどかなり豪華なショッピングモールでした。
タイへ行った時やマルタ、シンガポールのショッピングモールを見ていてもよく思うのですが、日本のショッピングモールって中々インパクト少ないですよね？
僕は東京自体も数える程しか行ったことないのでよくわかりませんが、やっぱり海外のショッピングモールの方がデザイン性(個性)が豊かで目立つ感覚を覚えますね。
あとシンガポールは皆さんもご存知の通りほぼ中国人の国です。
とは言えど中国とは少し違い、元々イギリス領で法律や教育もイギリスに基づいていることから中国とヨーロッパがちょっと混ざった感じがします。
言語は言語でSinglishとか言うわけわからないのがあるわけですが、一番僕が友達との中で話をするのは文化が混ざりに混ざりまくって服装だとか行動だとかがあまり似合わない(パッとしない)部分があります。
否定しているわけではありません。
シンガポール人はすごいアウトゴーイングなので友達にもなりやすいですし。
個性をすごく出し過ぎちゃったり、髪型が西洋人みたいになってたり、公共の場での振る舞いがオープンだったりしますが、日本人の場合でもそうですが、西洋系の服装や髪型っていうのは元々骨格の作りが違うのであまり似合わないんですね。
まぁそれはいいのですが、昨日の中で一番衝撃だったのはエレベーターに乗りながらカップルが向かい合ってチュッチュチュッチュしてるではないですか。。。偏見ではありませんが、アメリカが人やヨーロッパ人がするのならまだしも、まだアジア人が公共の場でその様な振る舞いをしているのに見慣れていないので、正直苦痛でした。
僕と友達の間ではそういう西洋の文化を取り入れすぎちゃった人の事をWestern-Wannabeと言っています。
ちなみにこの点について僕がアメリカ人になりたいというのは、僕が血が入ってるから言えます←
ちょっと衝撃でしたね。。。うむ。。カルチャーショックというものですかね。
とにかくもうシンガポールの地下鉄は慣れてきたのでそれは嬉しいです☆
今日は昨日寝るのが遅かったにも関わらず10時半頃に起床！
準備をしてご飯を食べに中心市街地まで出かけました☆
下の写真は今日のお昼ごはん、チキンとマッシュルームのパスタ！
僕は大のパスタ好きです。
とくにカルボナーラ、ペペロンチーノはいつでもどれくらいでも食べれる大好物。
それからカフェで本を読んだり沖縄へ帰った後のバイトを探したりしていました☆
今のところ引っ越し週4〜5、家庭教師週3〜4、コールセンター週末のみになりそうですね。。
引っ越しで月10万程ですか。家庭教師で英語を活かして良い所を探せば週4回で4万程なのでこっちも12万とか、コールセンターが英語対応の枠で時給1400円(最大)ですので8時間の6回と考えて6万強。
月で30万は貯めたいところですね。
正直家庭教師をやりまくれば大丈夫なんでしょうが、体を動かしたい、英語を喋り続けたいという願望があるので違う種類の仕事を。。
最低で70万貯めなければなのですが、結構鬼畜ですね。
でも準備はできています。
どうしても月30万稼ぎたい。
体を動かして。それをやりつつも夜はお勉強と、暇のない3ヶ月になりそうです。
ご飯を食べに行った中心市街地にあるショッピングモールではイベントが開催されていました☆
2月に入るとすぐ旧正月が来るので中国人は大喜びですね！
日本でいうお歳暮みたいなものもたくさん売り出していました！！
この2月は飛行機代が以上に高いんです。。。
上の写真は僕が今滞在させて頂いているコンドミニアムの駐車場にいつも停められている車。
少し見えにくいですが、ナンバープレートに注目です。
友達によるとこのナンバープレートを所持するだけで車が丸ごと1台買えるのだとか。。。
車のナンバープレートは自分の好きな番号に定められるらしいことを初めて知りました。
将来は自分の好きな番号を背負って車に乗りたいですね☆(正直あまり気にしません)
さぁもう少しで2月。
いよいよインターンシップ最後の月になります。
できることを頑張って、受け入れてくれた社長さんに恩返しをしなきゃいけないです。
「立つ鳥跡を濁さず」

Hello, Hello!!
In today's blog, the content of today and yesterday will be included:)
Yesterday, I was in Singapore!
I planned to have a look at the new development area, Jurong, of which project has been announced last week, but I decided to pull it off to the next time since it was raining and I went out a bit late. So I decided to step into the yet un-visited area instead!
It was my first time visiting Plaza Singapure and The Cathay shopping in Dhoby Ghaut. I realized of the gorgeousness of the shopping malls though its area is quite far from Orchard Street, which is the most thriving area in Singapore.
I've been to Thailand, Malta, Singapore, China, America, and Taiwan. When I come to see the foreign shopping malls, there is something that I have to figure; The less impact at the design of the Japanese shopping malls.
The times I have been to Tokyo are only within my number of finger range, but the design of foreign shopping malls are somehow very well designed in terms of expressing such gorgeousness and individuality.
And as you all know, the population of Singapore is mostly occupied by Chinese, however, there is a difference you can see.
It's the mixture of Chinese and Western Culture since the Singapore used to be under British colony and the laws and education systems are still based on British ones.
Language is what they call it, "Singlish," and all the styles of their fashion and the ways they behave are a bit off from what they really fit in.
It's not that I deny the way they are, but it's a criticism.
As a good aspect of the Singaporean, I should not forget to tell you that they are very FRIENDLY.
But those kinds of the WESTERN STYLES seem not to suit in Asian skeletal structure as the same thing could be said to those Japanese wish to dress up as Westerners.
Well, I respect the way they are and how they wish to be but there was one thing shocked me and made me feel kind of gross.
It was one couple coming down on the escalator, putting their arms on each other's necks and kissing in public, like as hard as you could tell where the passion comes from...
I mean when the Japanese do it, I also feel gross.
If the Americans or Europeans are the ones who are doing it, that's fine to me since that's how they naturally are!
I guess I am just not yet used to seeing Asians in Western culture... but it was gross and shocking.
Please bring it home and you can explode your passion towards your love.
My friend and I occasionally discuss the way the Singaporeans are, and we call them, "Western-Wannabes."
In case of me, I am more positive to say that I want to be like an Americans since there is blood in myself.. lmao
Well, that was some about culture shocking.
I'm just happy that I became to understand the MRT system in Singapore.
Despite of staying up late the night before, I managed to wake up around 10:30am.
As you can see the picture above, I got myself ready and went out to City for lunch:)
I love pasta, especially Carbonara and Peperoncino are the best of my favorites.
And then, I spent time reading, and looking up on part-time job recruitment on the internet, preparing for 3 months in Okinawa.
So far, moving-in helper, home teacher, and recipient at call center are the picks I have come up with, and I am going to work for full days, full weeks, full months, hoping to earn $3,000 a month.
The home teacher pays the best and I can put more shifts in it but I still want to exercise and keep myself in shape, and also habit of speaking English needs to be sustained as well. Considered the wants and needs, having 3 jobs and routining them would be the best.
$7,000 will be needed by the end of May, including the rent and living expenses in NY.
It will be very harsh, but I am ready for it:)
I was going to translate all but it's been taking too long so today, it's done by here.
Due to my hopes that someday one the americans looks up this blog and reaches out to me, I try to translate my blog into English when I have time, and it's also a good English practice so... "Win-Win!"
